Publications

• Publication of the review article The Risk of Chronic Psychedelic and MDMA Microdosing for Valvular Heart Disease in the Journal of Psychopharmacology in collaboration with Delos Therapeutics
• Publication of Pharmacokinetics of Two Nanoemulsion Formulations of Δ8-Tetrahydrocannabinol in Rats in AAPS PharmSciTech in collaboration with Industrial Sonomechanics

Research

• PK/PD analysis of preclinical data for a gene therapy
• First patient enrolled on an observational study of plasma levels of THC and metabolites in patients who go to the emergency department for cannabinoid overdose
• Supported design of Ph2b/3 studies for an oncology product
• Completion of an extension of a clinical study of a cannabinoid antagonist
• Analysis of preclinical data to support target selection for a novel analgesic

Regulatory Interactions

• Participation in 2 meetings with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), including a pre-IND and End of Ph2 (EoP2) meetings

• Co-authored an oral presentation, 5-way crossover clinical trial to assess modulating effects of CBD on psychotropic and analgesic effects of THC, for ICRS
• Co-authored Randomized Controlled Trial of ANEB-001 as an Antidote for Acute Cannabinoid Intoxication in Healthy Adults for American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) conference in Philadelphia
• Prediction of a Therapeutically Active Dose of the Cannabinoid Type 1 Receptor Antagonist ANEB-001 for Reversal of Acute Cannabis Intoxication Using a Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic Model poster presented at the ACEP conference
• Co-authored an oral presentation, Randomized Controlled Trial of ANEB-001 as an Antidote for Acute Cannabinoid Intoxication in Healthy Adults, for the  North American Congress of Clinical Toxicology (NACCT) conference in Toronto

Education & Mentorship

• 4 University of Vermont (UVM) cannabis courses were instructed by Dr. Klumpers
• Dr. Klumpers was a panelist in the group panel discussion on Cannabis Education Curriculum at the online conference Stockton University Third Cannabis Curriculum Convening
